Amin Ramzi Darwish Maqbool (Abu Fouad; born 1951 in Nablus) is a Palestinian sociologist, politician and diplomat, a member of Fatah Movement and its Revolutionary Council, and a member of the Palestinian Central Council from 2005 to 2016. He was the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Algeria between 2019 and 2021.

Educational attainment
Maqbool received his basic, preparatory and secondary school education in the city of Nablus, and obtained a bachelor's degree in sociology from An-Najah National University.

practical life
On October 12, 1997, he was appointed as a board member of the General Consumer Economic Corporation (The Rock).

On July 22, 2005, he was appointed as an undersecretary in the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security. He held the position until 2009.

In 2009, he won the Fatah Revolutionary Council elections, which were held during the Sixth Fatah Congress in Bethlehem, and became a member of it, and assumed the secretariat.

On March 8, 2010, he was appointed as an advisor with the rank of minister to the President of the Palestinian National Authority. On February 7, 2015, he was appointed as a member of the Supreme National Committee to follow up with the International Criminal Court.

On February 22, 2019, he was appointed ambassador of the State of Palestine to Algeria. In October 2021, it was announced that his duties had ended.
