Ghazi Al-Jabali: He is a Palestinian officer with the rank of major general, and the former commander of the Palestinian Police Service. Al-Jabali was born in Jaffa in 1946, and completed his basic education in Amman. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University in 1966. Al-Jabali joined the Palestine Liberation Organization in the early seventies, and was promoted while working in the military wing of the organization. Former Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat assigned him to arrange arrangements for the security services emanating from the authority. In June 1994, Al-Jabali was appointed head of the Palestinian Police Service, and he continued in his position until 2002, when he was subsequently convicted of corruption crimes, and then left the Palestinian territories, and returned in 2013, After the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas pardoned him, and stopped the legal prosecution.
