Palestinian artist and director Hisham Zureiq says: I think art is another way to communicate, to express my thoughts, art for me should be a message like this. This is how I saw art when I was a young child trying to express simple ideas and drawings, and this is how I see art when working on digital art or writing poetry today. Sometimes I ask myself if we can reach people through a “reason”! But I think it is better to reach people’s hearts through feelings, through art, and there are those who may get it for a reason. Or maybe using extremes in art—this is what we usually try—in order to make people think, and after contemplation, their feelings become dozens. Then their analysis may bring logic with it. One of the stories that affected him when he heard it from his family was ((It all started on October 30, 1948, when the Israeli army occupied his father’s village and slaughtered 14 young men, one of whom was his father’s brother, and some of whom were his father’s cousins, and the villagers were forced to leave their country to Lebanon)).
