Samira Abdullah Abdul Rahim Halayqa is a Palestinian politician and member of the second Palestinian Legislative Council .
She worked as a reporter and journalist for years. She ran on the Change and Reform list in the 2006 Palestinian legislative elections and became a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council ; a member of the Palestinian National Council , and was active in the Reconciliation Committee following the Palestinian division . She was arrested by Israel in 2017.
