the biography
A Palestinian television director, born in 1964 in Damascus, Syria. He studied directing in the Kingdom of Sweden, where he lives today and holds Swedish citizenship. Among his most important works is the series “Jasmine and Cement”, which brings together actors from Syria, Germany and Sweden.
He has more than 35 documentaries, including “Three Sails Towards the Sun”, “Sweden: The Other Face”, “Why Am I Here”, “Muslims in the Snow…”. He also prepared, presented and directed more than one hundred and forty episodes of the program “European Magazine” for Dubai TV.
He also directed the program “Muslims in the West” for Iqraa TV. He also directed several concerts for major Arab artists, including “Kazem El Saher in Paris, George Wassouf in Germany and Ragheb Alama, Najwa Karam in Germany, Ali bin Mohammed and Ahlam Paris, etc.”
He also directed the program “Where You Were”, the guests of the program were Rabeh Saqr and Nawal Al-Kuwaitiya, presented by the distinguished media figure Joumana Bou Eid in the cities of Cannes and Monaco in France.
He also worked as the Director of Production for the Arab Radio and Television Channel, the European Channel from Germany, and General Manager of the Swedish company IMP.
He participated in several Festivals (Cairo Radio and Television Festival) (Gulf Festival in Bahrain) He received a certificate of appreciation from the Artists Syndicate in Syria for his creativity in directing the series Jasmine and Cement in 2004.
He participated in the film festival in the Skåne region in Sweden in his film (The Heart and the Stone). Personal life: Married and has three children (Amal, Nizar, Osama).
