A Palestinian actor and director who excelled in cinema, theater, and television programs. He was born on November 1, 1950 in the village of Ba'ana, Acre District, to a family of farmers.
However, after Israel confiscated the village's lands in 1963, the village's farming life ended and he moved to work in construction. He loved acting and imitating at an early age, and began imitating and acting in front of his parents, teachers, and female teachers at school.
After completing his secondary education, Salim joined the Higher Institute of Acting (Beit Zvi) in Ramat Gan. One of his most prominent roles is the role of (Abu Nidal) in the series Arab Work (2007), and he also appeared in the movie Oslo (2021), the movie Gaza Mon Amour (2020), and the movie Les hirondelles ne meurent pas à Jérusalem (1994).
