the biography
A Palestinian actor born in Ramallah on November 3, 1955. He began his artistic career on stage in a work titled “The Right is Upon Us.” However, if we consider the real beginning in television work and professional acting, it was in the early nineties and during his presence in Jordan, where director Nabil Najm assigned him a leading role in the play (Bachelor in Ruling the People), written by the Egyptian writer Ali Salem. This was followed by another work directed by the same director (The Night of Guevara’s Death) by writer Mikhail Roman.
These two plays participated in the Jordanian Theater Festival during that period. He participated in many plays, including (Torch and His Forehead), (The Time of the Innocents), (The Sad Bird), and finally (The Gravedigger).
The last three plays were directed by Fathi Abdel Rahman. Then, the diverse roles he performed followed, as director Najdat Anzour assigned him a role in the television series (The Salt Truck).
Then he worked with Professor Hassan Abu Shaira in two works, one Bedouin and the other historical, in addition to several other small roles with major directors. After that, he moved to Palestine.
He participated in more than one series, including (The Emigrant Hearts), the series (Yanun), the television movie (And the Stone Said), (A Joke in Seriousness), and (What is There in There) and the last work he participated in was Al-Ijtiah, written by the Palestinian writer Riad Seif.
On the radio level, there was the series (Like the Proverb Said) broadcast on the Palestinian radio and the series (Nights of the Harvest) directed by Fathi Abdel Rahman and (Dreams Hanging on the Barrier).
