Ibrahim Hassan Sarhan: A Palestinian director from the city of Jaffa, he is the first Palestinian filmmaker. His first film was a coverage of the visit of the Saudi King Abdul Aziz in 1935 and contains rare scenes about Palestine. He also documented the visit of Ahmed Hilmi Pasha, a member of the Arab Higher Committee for Palestine, cinematically, and subsequently founded Studio Palestine in Jaffa. He was displaced to Jordan during the Nakba of Palestine in 1948, where he participated in the first Jordanian feature film directed by Wasif Al-Sheikh Yassin entitled "Struggle in Jerash" in 1958.
