Ashraf Barhoum (born in 1979) is a Palestinian film and theater actor who lives in the village of Tarshiha in the Galilee, northern Palestine. He was born in 1979. He snatched the spotlight after the perfect role he played in the movie The Kingdom. He was one of the film’s heroes alongside major actors in the world of cinema such as Jimmy Foxx, Chris Cooper and Jennifer Garner, The role he played in the film is the Saudi officer, the “Ghazi,” and parts of the filming were in the Emirates, and as he had previously appeared in “Paradise Now” and “Agora,” the movie “Titanium War,” directed by Louis Letterer.

He participated in the movie "The Ninth Bride" directed by Ali Nasser (2003), in which he played the lead role, as he embodied the character of Ahmed, who is suspected by the residents of a village in the Galilee that he is behind the disappearance of a boy. In 2004 he participated in the two films "Colombian Love" and "The Syrian Bride". He also participated in the movie "Paradise Now", which was released in 2005. In 2007, he participated in the Hollywood action movie "The Kingdom", in which he played the role of a Saudi police officer who helps a team of FBI investigators investigate a terrorist attack that took place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2009, he participated in two films "Agora" and "Lebanon". In 2014, he participated in the American series "The Tyrant" for FX Network in a leading role.

Barhoum acted in the play “Flontar”, a joint production of the Camry Theater and Haifa Theater, which deals with the issue of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This play was shown for the first time in 2005, where it achieved great success and is still shown sometimes (until December 2009), he participated in the play “Spring.” Sheep". It is the production of the Camry Theater of the well-known Spanish play about an occupied village and also participated in various productions of the Arab theaterin Haifa.
