Fawzi Nashashibi: A French researcher and inventor of Palestinian origin from Jerusalem, he holds a PhD in robotics from the University of Toulouse, France. He heads the Robotics and Intelligent Transportation Systems Department at the French Institute for Computer Research and Automation (Inria), one of the largest research institutions in Europe. He has played a key role in more than 50 European and French projects to automate transportation systems and replace them with robots.
