Subhi Ali: An American doctor of Palestinian origin from the town of Deir Dibwan in the Ramallah district, he obtained his medical degree from Howard University School of Medicine in Washington, a surgeon and head of the surgery department at Howard University Hospital, in addition to being the head of the Jerusalem Fund in Washington, the most prominent medical official in the state of Tennessee for ten years and the president of its doctors for three years. Dr. Ali participates in many medical associations and affiliations, including the American Board of Surgery, the National Arab American Medical Association and the Tennessee Medical Education Fund.
