A Palestinian sociologist, he holds a PhD from France for his dissertation "The 'Professionalization' of NGOs in Palestine: Between Donor Pressure and the Logic of Belonging." He has a critical study on development entitled " Development Fighters: Between the Myth of Implementation and the Ideology of Discourse and Imagery," published by Bisan (Ramallah), in addition to a collection of articles on funding in occupied Palestine and the role of NGOs, published in the Right of Return newspaper issued by Badil, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights and Refugee Resources.
