Dr.. Abaher Al-Sakka is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Birzeit University. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Nantes, France. Graduated from the Higher School of Management of Social Organizations - Saint Titian - France. He worked as a lecturer at the University of Nantes from 1998-2006, and as a visiting professor at several French universities from 2009-2017. research fellow at the French Institute for Development Studies and member of the Nantes Center for Sociological Studies; research associate at the French Institute for Near Eastern Studies; He has many studies and scientific articles in the areas of social artistic expressions, social movements, identity, memory, patriotism, social policies, social history of Gaza City, social sciences and its history.
