The Palestinian researcher, Rana Abdel-Jabbar Najeeb Al-Koua, won the first place in the Arab Youth Award for the year 2019.
Rana participated in a competition for the Arab Research and Studies Institute affiliated to the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization "ALECSO", addressing the topic "Political Administration... The Controversy of Classification and the Inevitability of Employment".
In her study, Rana Abdul-Jabbar Al-Koua reviewed the topic of "Empowering Arab Youth to Participate in Public Policy-making and its Relationship to Administrative Reform in Light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution", and she will be honored with a special celebration at the end of this year.
In a statement today, Saturday, the Palestinian National Committee for Education, Culture and Science congratulated the researcher Al-Koua for this achievement, which reflects the unremitting efforts she made to raise the name of Palestine in the Institute for Arab Research and Studies, which is an ancient scientific platform that puts the State of Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif at the top of its priorities.
She emphasized that this Arab scientific platform provides services to Arab researchers, especially the people of the State of Palestine, and has effective contributions in enriching the specialized educational scene in Palestine with distinguished disciplines, which represent a necessity for us in order to build state institutions and bring about development.
She added that the Institute provides grants and aid to Palestinian students in Cairo, indicating its intention to organize an honoring ceremony for the researcher Al-Koua after being honored by the "ALECSO" organization, and for everyone who contributed to this national achievement for Palestine and the scientific research process.
For her part, the researcher Al-Koua appreciated the role of the "National Committee" and its follow-up with the organizers of the award, as well as the role of the Institute of Arab Research and Studies, and the "ALECSO" organization, considering that this award did justice to her efforts with professionalism and credibility.
It is noteworthy that the researcher Al-Koua holds a degree from Al-Quds Open University, specializing in family development and social service, in addition to being active in the field of entrepreneurship and plant conservation, and she has many previous research contributions, and she is a mother of four children.
