I am an assistant professor in the fields of post-colonialism, comparative literature, and American studies, and coordinator of the American Studies program at the university. I completed my doctoral studies at Lancaster University in Britain in 2016, and my thesis dealt with the topic of exile and alienation in Palestinian and American literature in the twentieth century. I now teach various courses in the English Department, including modern American literature, contemporary American fiction, Orientalism, post-colonial literature, and comparative literature.
