The Teacher Creativity Center Association, in cooperation with the Palestinian Educational Coalition and the Arab Orthodox Social Cultural Center in Gaza, and with the sponsorship of the Echo Spain Foundation in Arabic, and the International Training Cooperative - Spain, implemented a training workshop entitled “Pedagogy of Leadership and Management - A Renewed Approach to Work,” presented by consultant expert Dr. Fadi Salfiti, the international coach residing in Spain, during his visit to the Gaza Strip.
The workshop was opened by A. Wafaa Al-Ghussein, Director of the Teacher Creativity Office - Gaza, welcomed the attendees and thanked the Orthodox Cultural Center and its director, A. Rami Tarazi for cooperation and hosting, in the presence of a large number of institutional directors, employees and activists in civil society institutions and institutions of the Palestinian Educational Coalition in the Gaza Strip.
The workshop addressed several topics in the field of professional work pedagogy and the concept of a renewed approach to management and leadership, a topic that the International Cooperative and the trainer are unique in presenting in the world.
The attendees interacted during the workshop and expressed their interest in the topics presented for the first time and praised the benefit and desire to hold other workshops for the renewed approach.
On the sidelines of the workshop and within the framework of the center’s work, Ms. Majdoline Al-Talbani, project coordinator at the Teacher Creativity Center Association, institutions of the Palestinian Educational Coalition, and civil society organizations to participate in World Education Week 2023, under the slogan “Decolonizing Education Financing,” which is being implemented from May 27 to June 2, through the implementation of many activities and events, where... Participating in this global activity on behalf of the Palestinian Educational Coalition, which includes a number of private institutions in the field of education under the umbrella of the Teacher Creativity Center Association.
Al-Tilbani stressed the importance of intensifying all local and international efforts with regard to financing education in light of the circumstances and violations to which the Palestinian people are exposed, especially the Gaza Strip. Education must be placed among the national priorities as a basic right guaranteed by Palestinian law and all international laws, treaties and agreements related to education, to which the State of Palestine is committed.
It is worth mentioning that the Global Action Week for Education is implemented annually in conjunction with 100 countries around the world that carry the same slogan, and these countries include “Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, and Lebanon.”
