D. was born. Iyad Yaqoub on November 9, 1973. He obtained his Tawjihi certificate in 1992 and was accepted at Birzeit University in the Faculty of Engineering. He obtained a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Birzeit University in 1997, and immediately began studying for a master's degree at Birzeit University in 1998 and obtained a master's degree in water and environmental engineering in 2000. At the same time, until 2006, he worked as head of the research and development department in Palestinian Water Authority. He has worked in the following fields:
- Assistant Professor in Environmental Health Sciences and Water Technology, Arab American University.
- Assistant Professor at the Center for Climate Change and Environmental Technological Excellence, Arab American University
- Water Strategy Advisor, GIZ
- Project manager for a master’s program in an Austrian agency
- A local expert in the JICA national team for institution and capacity building
- Local trainer with SIWI in Water Governance (Water Safety)
- Cross-border water and environmental engineering, working independently in the field of water management (trainer/coordinator and mediator of conferences and workshops)
- Consultant for local and international financing and development agencies
- Technical advisor to local government institutions, engineering companies, and non-governmental organizations
- Executive Director of the Joint Services Council / Salfit Governorate
From 2009 to 2016 he was a PhD student in the field of environmental engineering at the University of Cincinnati, OHIO, USA.
From 2009 to 2016, he was a doctoral student in the field of environmental engineering at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, in the United States of America.
