Dr. Hani Nouraldin is an Assistant Professor who obtained his Ph.D. from the École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE), Sorbonne University in Paris in 1997. His doctoral research focused on the archaeology of the Ancient Near East in the pre-classical periods, specifically on the subject of palaces during the Bronze Ages.
He teaches at the Institute of Archaeology and also manages the Archaeological Studies Unit. His research interests revolve around the cultural and historical aspects of Palestine during the Bronze and Iron Ages, with a focus on studying material culture from those periods.
Dr. Nouraldin has supervised various archaeological excavations, including the Tell et-Tell / Deir Dibwan excavation from 2003-2007, and excavations in the town of Sebastia since 2008 to the present day.
