Information
Ziad Qanam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Development Studies at the College of Business and Economics at the University of Jerusalem. He also served as the Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development at the University of Jerusalem between 2003 and 2012. He holds a master's degree in Environmental Sciences and Management from the University of Jordan and a Ph.D. in Groundwater and Environmental Sciences from the University of Freiburg in Germany, both of which were awarded scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
He has been a member of and chaired scientific committees for numerous international and local scientific conferences in various fields, including management and economics, tourism and development, and energy and environmental protection.
