Mandatory specialization requirement (3 credit hours) This course deals with crime, its causes and motivations, and the sciences branching out from criminology, sciences related to criminal psychology, forensic biology, criminal sociology, forensic psychology, innate imbalances, instincts, important instincts and their imbalances, deviation of emotions, deviant emotions and prevention of their deviations, The psychological system, psychological and mental illnesses and the difference between them, stages of personality development and their patterns, the impact of psychological problems and illnesses on responsibility for the criminal crime.

This course deals with the study of the living organism on the one hand, and studies the stimuli of the external environment on the other hand. It studies environmental stimuli and their effect on the nervous system, and studies the living organism in terms of tendencies, needs, tendencies, readiness, and others.

Family Psychology: Mandatory specialization requirement (3 credit hours) This course deals with the concept of the family and its functions, the stages of its development, its general problems, the concept of family counseling and its development, its basic principles, theories, methods, problems in theory and research, the future of family counseling and its applications.
Islamic Psychology: Elective requirement (3 credit hours): This course deals with the study of the soul in the Qur’anic definition, the relationship of the soul to the body, mind, spirit and destiny, anxiety, natural fear and illness, death and its complexes, psychological and mental complexes, personal illnesses, diseases touched by revelation, the concept of calamity in light of Qur’anic guidance, death, and psychological frustration in a scientific and conceptual perspective.

Contemporary issues and trends in mental health:
Mandatory requirement (3 credit hours) Master’s program in youth mental health The course aims to address the most important contemporary issues in mental health that pose psychological, social and behavioral problems, such as family upbringing, addiction, violence, sexual deviations,..., which are faced by the contemporary social structure and structure.
The course seeks to discuss and address them with modern and contemporary theories and trends, through objective interpretation and analysis of the causes, events and situations that cause their emergence, especially the cultural aspect, rapid preventive intervention, and measuring the degree of change and the extent of the stability of this change among individuals in particular and society in general. The importance of positive psychology concepts and their applications in real life.
This course also shows students how to address these issues by studying the criteria of equality and dissimilarity, and by observation, concepts, and terminology related to that, and focusing on solving problems, roles, and the functional, analytical, productive, and therapeutic structure of society.
