Two Palestinian academics from An-Najah National University presented two scientific lectures during a scientific visit they made to the Chinese city of Nanjing, within the framework of a joint cooperation project between An-Najah University and Southeastern University on planning industrial zones in Palestine and the Middle East.
The Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies for Human Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Raafat Ghodiya gave a scientific lecture on urban planning in Palestine, while faculty member in the Geography Department, Obaida Asid, gave a scientific lecture on spatial planning in Turkey.
The visit program included attending many scientific lectures and discussions on spatial and urban planning laws and regulations related to industrial zones in China, Palestine, and the Middle East countries, and ways to develop cooperation between the two universities in this field.
