Palestinian physician and academic Dr. Mahmoud Matar won the “Dr. Ghoneim Award for Surgical Innovation in Kidney and Urinary Tract Surgery” at the level of the Arab world.
Dr. was announced as the winner. Mattar, a faculty member at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University, received the award during the 15th Arab Association of Nephrology and Urology Conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Mahmoud Matar is a physician specializing in kidney and urinary tract surgery, and is licensed by Turkish higher education with the rank of Associate Professor (Docent), which is the highest academic degree in Turkey granted through examinations.
Dr. also worked Mattar is a visiting scientist at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas at Houston, one of the largest global oncology centers.
