Dr. Ahmed Basalat, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at An-Najah University, has been ranked among the list of the most influential scientists in the world according to the “Albert Dugger Scientific Classification.” This is a distinguished achievement that Dr. Basalat has achieved after 10 continuous years of scientific research, ranking him the first Palestinian researcher and the ninth Arab researcher. Ranked 1174 globally. This classification includes scientists affiliated with 19,300 universities around the world, representing 216 countries and regions.
This classification is based primarily on the “H-index” or “Hirsch coefficient” ( h-index ), which means the extent to which science and humanity benefit from research.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Basalat, a researcher in high energy physics who is ranked among the most influential researchers in the world according to many international classifications, has been working as a teacher in the Physics Department at An-Najah University since 2016. He has many accomplishments, including the establishment of the winter school in high energy physics in Palestine. Dr. Links to establishing the Center of Excellence in High Energy Physics in Palestine, which is a center with high-speed computing capacity and unique in the Middle East.
It is also mentioned that Dr. Basalat is based on several international projects through a wide network of relationships aimed at advancing scientific research.
