Dr. Mohammad Al-Amleh joined An-Najah National University to work and teach immediately after obtaining his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in the United States of America in 1981. Prior to that, in 1974, he had obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Kuwait University, and in 1978 he obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Alabama.
During his association with An-Najah National University, he worked as a visiting professor at a number of universities (for one year at the Faculty of Science - Al-Quds University, for one year at the Arab American University, for two years at the University of South Carolina - USA, and for one year at the University of Alabama - USA). In addition to his work in teaching, research and supervising master's theses, he carried out the following administrative tasks:
Vice President for Academic Affairs: 2014 – Present.
Dean of the College of Graduate Studies: 1999-2001.
Dean of Scientific Research: 1998-1999.
Computer Center Manager: 1994-1996.
Head of the Mathematics Department at An-Najah University in the following periods: 1981-1983, 1984-1987, 2012-2014.
Head of the Mathematics Department at the Arab American University: 2001-2002.
Research and Teaching Assistant - University of Alabama: 1976 - 1981.
