Dr. Khaled Qabha is a full-time Associate Professor at the College of Allied Medical Sciences, serving in the Medical Analysis Department. With a strong background in biomedical sciences, Dr. Qabha teaches a wide range of core and advanced courses, including Histology for Medical Laboratory and Dental Students, Histology and Histotechnology, Immunology and Serology, Physiology, Molecular Biology, Epidemiology and Public Health, and Ethics and Health Professional Issues.
Dr. Qabha is a prolific researcher with an extensive publication record in areas such as molecular diagnostics, medicinal plant research, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant studies, and public health trends in the Palestinian population. His research has explored the therapeutic potential of plant extracts, such as olive leaf, turmeric, pomegranate peel, and Teucrium polium, in addition to investigations into familial Mediterranean fever, breast cancer predictors, and heart disease risk factors. His scientific contributions are documented through multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, with recent works highlighting the antibacterial and antioxidant properties of Hedera helix leaf extracts.
