Dr. Ahmed Asaad Mohammed Sharaf is an Assistant Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence and Politics with a long-standing career in teaching, research, and community engagement. He has served as a lecturer at An-Najah National University in the Faculty of Science and Islamic Studies, as well as at Al-Quds Open University. Beyond academia, he has played an influential role in religious and social institutions, serving as a preacher and teacher in mosques across the Nablus Governorate, and formerly as Vice Chairman of the Central Zakat Committee in Nablus.
Dr. Sharaf is an active member of the Advisory Committee of the Faculty of Sharia at An-Najah National University, where he contributes to quality assurance in academic programs. He is also a member of the Arbitration Committee in Palestinian Sharia Courts and participates in the Fatwa Committee affiliated with the Faculty of Sharia at An-Najah. In addition, he delivers religious programs broadcast on international satellite channels and local radio stations, further extending his influence in public education and awareness.
His scholarly contributions include publishing academic studies, co-authoring a book on Islamic culture at the Faculty of Sharia, and serving on the preparatory and scientific committees of eight international conferences hosted by An-Najah National University. He has also supervised several master’s theses, supporting the development of future scholars in Islamic studies.
Dr. Sharaf’s career combines academic expertise, religious leadership, and community service, making him a distinguished figure in Islamic jurisprudence, education, and public engagement.
