Information
Ayman Al-Agha is a German professor and physician of Palestinian origin from the city of Gaza. He is an expert in laparoscopic and endocrine surgery, with numerous scientific publications and participation in international medical conferences around the world.
Dr. Al-Agha achieved a world medical milestone by performing a first-of-its-kind surgery to transplant a lobe of the parathyroid gland, which was removed from a patient’s brother’s neck and implanted into her arm.
He currently serves as the Head of the Surgery Department at Bogenhausen Hospital in Munich, Germany, and is an active member of the Union of Palestinian Doctors in Europe.
Dr. Al-Agha has also been part of medical missions to Palestine, where he performed voluntary surgeries at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah and other cities, and delivered several medical lectures across Palestine.
