Information
Yezid Sayigh is a Palestinian scholar and academic from the village of Al-Bassa, Acre District. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut and a Ph.D. in War Studies from King’s College London.
He is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Middle East Center in Beirut and a former professor of Middle East Studies in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
Dr. Sayigh is also a member of the Academic Council at the Gulf Research Center, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah.
He has been a visiting professor at the Faculty of Political Studies and Public Administration at the American University of Beirut, and has conducted research at the Dayan Center at Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Sayigh is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
