Mohammad Abdullah Al-Jaidi is a Spanish professor of Palestinian origin, born in the village of Iraq Suwaydan in the Gaza Governorate. He is considered one of the most prominent Palestinian cultural figures in Europe.
He serves as a Professor of Arabic Language and Literature at Complutense University of Madrid. He is also the Chairman of the International Committee for Language Rights and Dialogue, and the founder of the University of Madrid’s cooperation framework with universities in the Arab world, in addition to serving as its cooperation coordinator.
He has worked for many years in the field of Arabic and Islamic studies in collaboration with universities across European Union countries, including Spain, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. Recently, an updated and revised edition of his book Encyclopedia of Sources of Modern Palestinian Literature was published.
