A poet and writer, a jurist and professor of comparative international law, an international human rights lawyer, and the originator of the theory of labeling and proportionality justice in international criminal law.
He was born in Nablus in 1953 and currently resides in Montreal , Canada . He received his education at a number of Arab, American, and Canadian universities.
Academic qualifications: General Diploma in English 1972, Bachelor of Laws 1978, Diploma in Public Law 1985, Master of Arts 1987, Master of Economics 1989, Master of Comparative Law 1998, PhD in Political Economy 1993, PhD in Comparative International Law 2004. He currently serves as President of the International Legal Advocacy Foundation (ILAF), and is a member of several American and Canadian legal societies. [1]
