Abdul Qader Ismail Al-Jabarin was born in the town of Sa'ir in 1958. He completed his preparatory education at the local school in Sa'ir before continuing his secondary education at Halhul Secondary School, where he graduated from the literary branch in 1977.
In 1977, he enrolled at Birzeit University, where he pursued studies in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science and obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1981. Following his graduation, he worked at the Birzeit University Research Center until 1983.
He then continued his postgraduate studies at Illinois State University, where he earned a master’s degree in Modern History in 1985. He continued his academic work at the same university and obtained a doctorate in Modern History in 1988.
In the same year, Al-Jabarin began his academic career at Al-Khail University, initially working as a researcher at the university’s research center. He subsequently joined the Department of History as a lecturer and later became Head of the History Department, a position he has continued to hold.
