Information

Born on November 28, 1952, a Palestinian legal advisor and professor, and is the president of the Palestinian Supreme Constitutional Court, and its first president, who obtained a bachelor's degree in law in 1976.

Muhammad Hajj Qassem began his university teaching career since December 1978, and continued that until his assignment to head the Palestinian Supreme Constitutional Court on April 1, 2016.

 

Achievements and Awards

Hajj Kassem has issued many constitutional studies in parliamentary law and constitutional judiciary, and he has framed, supervised and discussed a large number of doctoral theses, postgraduate diploma theses and master's theses in law schools in Morocco, in addition to his participation in many seminars and conferences.

Hajj Kassem worked as a permanent member of the committee for interviewing masters students in constitutional law and political science, and as a member of the university qualification committee for a group of university professors in several colleges in Morocco, as well as evaluating promotions for university professors from assistant professor to associate or associate to professor.
