Faisal Salim Al-Talawi (born in Tell on June 1, 1948 in Tell), a Jordanian-Palestinian poet, storyteller, and novelist. He has published two novels and several collections of short stories and collections of poetry. He resides in Amman, Jordan.

He was born on June 1, 1948 in the village of Tal near Nablus, where he received his primary and preparatory education, and finished high school at Al-Jahiz School in Nablus in 1966. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad in 1970, and worked for two years. 38 years of teaching in secondary schools in Algeria, Libya, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Today, he resides in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
