Fadwa Al-Qasim (1962 Lebanon) is a Palestinian writer with Canadian citizenship. She published a number of short stories in Arab literary periodicals, in addition to two collections of short stories and a translated novel.

 

Brief

She was born in Lebanon, she is of Tripoli birth, but in reality she is of Palestinian origin and holds Canadian citizenship. She speaks four languages (Arabic, English, French and Spanish). She first arrived in Dubai in 1984 and has lived there for 20 years.

 

She holds a BA in English Literature from Britain.
