Abdul Qader Al-Jabareen (1958-) is a Palestinian historian and researcher . He was born in the town of Sa’ir. He studied primary and secondary school there and obtained a bachelor’s degree in 1981 from Birzeit University , specializing in political science . He then obtained a master’s degree in 1985 with a thesis entitled “Relations between the Palestine Liberation Organization, Egypt, and Jordan.” From the University of Illinois in the United States , and in 1988 he obtained a doctorate in contemporary Arab history from the same university. During the period between 1981-1983, he worked as a researcher and academic assistant at Birzeit University and the University of Illinois during the period (1981-1983), then he returned to Palestine and worked A lecturer at Hebron University , Department of History, until now. He currently holds the position of a member of the Board of Trustees of Palestine Polytechnic University .
