Zuhaira Zaqtan (born 1956 in Aqabat Jaber Camp, Jericho, Palestine) is a Palestinian writer and plastic artist. She is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association, the Arab Writers Union, and the Palestine Writers Union.

Childhood and education
She was born in Aqabat Jabr in 1956 to a family from Zakaria, and her father is the poet Khalil Zaqtan (1928-1980), who worked after the Nakba as an employee in UNRWA. She moved with her family according to her father's places of work in the Palestinian camps and lived in the Karama camp from 1960 to 1967, then moved to Amman. Her brothers are writer Ghassan Zaqtan, critic Zuhair Zaqtan, writer and musician Waddah Zaqtan. She studied in the schools of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, finished high school in 1974, and then obtained a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Beirut Arab University in 1979.

her career
She was interested in folklore, and held dozens of personal exhibitions that included traditional paintings busy with embroidery on canvas in Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq and Palestine. She also worked as a rapporteur for the folklore committee in the Jordanian Writers Association.
