Marwan Abd al-Rahim al-Alan (1952) is a Palestinian poet, painter, and writer. He was born and raised in Aqabat Jabr camp near Jericho. He studied at the Teachers' Institute in Irbid, specializing in Art Education. He worked as a teacher for six years. He was imprisoned for seven years, and after his release he worked as a designer and painter at Al-Quds Open University. He has many poetry collections and books.

Marwan Abd al-Rahim al-Alan was born in 1372 AH / 1952 AD in the Aqabat Jabr camp for Palestinian refugees near the city of Jericho and grew up there. He studied the first stages in the UNRWA camp schools for Palestinian refugees, then in the schools of the city of Jericho, and completed high school in Amman. Then he joined the Teachers Institute in Irbid, specializing in Art Education.
He worked as a teacher for six years until he was arrested for seven years, and after his release he continued his literary and artistic life, and worked as an art designer and painter at Al-Quds Open University. From 1986 to 1992 he held seven plastic exhibitions in Amman and Damascus. He received a diploma in arts, a BA in Arabic and a MA in Islamic history from Birzeit University in Palestine, and a doctorate in Islamic Civilization from the National University of Malaysia.
He worked as editor-in-chief and franchisor of "Tashkeel" magazine, which specializes in fine art affairs, and he is the owner of "Tashkeel Gallery". He is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association, the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Writers, and the General Union of Palestinian Plastic Artists.
