Johnny Mansour is a Palestinian historian from the Arabs of 1948, born in Haifa in 1960. He is a lecturer in the Department of History Studies at Beit Berl Academic College. Specializing in the history of the modern Middle East, he has an interest in the modern and contemporary history of Palestine, the Palestinian cause, and the history of Palestinian cities, especially Haifa.


Johnny Mansour was born in Haifa on December 25, 1960. He studied primary at the Nazareth Sisters School in Haifa, and finished high school at the Arab Orthodox College in Haifa in 1978. Then he continued his studies at Haifa University in the subjects of Middle Eastern history and philosophy. He obtained a bachelor's degree and a qualified teacher's certificate. He obtained a master's degree from the same university, then a doctorate in history from Saint Petersburg University in 1988. He has been working in the field of education for nearly 38 years. He is a political and social activist through several local and international frameworks and bodies. I hold the position of director of the data bank at "Madar" - the Palestinian Center for Israeli Studies in Ramallah.
