In the Al-Babtain Dictionary, he mentioned his poeticism: “His poetry indicates that it was made long before the date of its publication in the Diwan. The reflections of the young, distracted life in it are clear, objectively, and the expansion of the use of seas (complete and partial and mixing between them) and the diversification of rhymes more than adhering to the unity of rhyme. He sings of festivities that have ceased a very long time ago. His poetry is closer to frankness in expressing his emotions, directness and determination as well, and the images of life in Palestine - before its occupation - depict in his poetry a realistic and visual description, not from a site of memory or nostalgia.
