Rida Mansour (Hebrew: רדא מנצור) is a poet, historian, and diplomat. He has published three books of poetry in Hebrew and received the Miller Prize from the University of Haifa as well as the President's Prize for Youth and Writers.
Mansour was born in (1965) in Isfiya. He is a doctoral candidate at the University of Haifa for Middle Eastern History for Management and a graduate of Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
He studied Spanish at the University of Salamanca (which dates back to 1218, it is the oldest and also one of the most prestigious universities in Spain), and general studies semester at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The field of research is the changes in the perception of identity and the social environment as manifested in the intellectual discourse in Syria during the third decade of the “Corrective Movement” 1988-2003.
literary works
Mr. Mansour is the first poet to write exclusively in Hebrew. His short story "Jumblatt in the Negev" won the "Recommend Story" category, and the "Haaretz" Short Story Annual Award in 1997. In addition, he currently has a collection of poems translated into Spanish and Portuguese. He is at work on a book of short stories.
Reda Mansour has participated in poetry readings and poetry festivals in Isfia, Haifa, Tel Aviv, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami, Houston, New Mexico, San Salvador, and Quito Lisbon.
Conscience Papers This collection of Hebrew poems and books vary in places around the world beginning in 1998 during the author's studies in and ending in Portugal four years later. The poems devoted himself to nature and its impact on history and people. It jumbles together, Arab, Jewish, and multi-ethnic traditions the history of the Iberian Peninsula with some modern depictions of American literature. They explore the relationships between people and places. The title of the book is the title of one of the poems written during the Cambridge Spring mixed with news of the massacres in the Balkans. Published by "Sar" Publishing 2004, and includes the design of famous photographer Alex Levac.
Rabin-King Peace Center
Recently, at Morehouse University in Atlanta, the Rabin-King Center for Peace was inaugurated at the initiative of Ambassador Reda Mansour, from the village of Isfiya and Morehouse University. It was previously awarded to international personalities such as Nelson Mandela, President of South Africa, Prince Hassan bin Talal, the former Crown Prince of Jordan, and Ambassador Reda Mansour was announced as a member of the Board of Trustees of Morhawi University, after Martin Luther King, in recognition of his special initiative. Ambassador Reda Mansour spoke about his experience as a member of the Druze community who grew up in Israel and the importance of finding frameworks that enable members of minorities to participate and reach common goals to improve the conditions of the society in which they live.

Ambassador Mansour has devoted his public life to advancing dialogue between Arabs and Jews in Israel, and has served in numerous non-governmental organizations aimed at promoting coexistence with different religions and cultures.
