José Said Safieh: A Chilean businessman and millionaire of Palestinian origin from the city of Jerusalem. José Said is considered one of the most important and well-known businessmen, with his own entity and respect in the world of culture and finance. He owns many investments related to the spinning and weaving industry in Peru and Bolivia, as well as managing large cotton farms and cotton and spinning factories. In 1960, José and his uncle founded Banco del Trabajo, which grew to be among the five largest banks in Chile. He is known for his constant and continuous support and passion for his homeland, Palestine.
