AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University (TAG-DGU) participated in a training course entitled "Active Learning Strategies and Student Conflict Resolution" in cooperation with Kingston International Schools and Al Rai Schools, as part of its efforts to promote a stimulating educational environment that contributes to supporting students' academic and behavioral growth.
During the course, which was held in the presence of a large number of school administrators and teachers at the Kingston International Schools Theater, the participants discussed several main topics, most notably: the concepts and basics of active education and learning and how to apply them in classrooms, methods of resolving student conflicts using educational methods that enhance the concept of social communication, and strategies to motivate students to think critically and creatively. Dr. Mohammad Abu Amara, Director General of the Schools, stated that the course targets teachers and administrators in schools, as it provides a set of modern educational methods that contribute to enhancing interaction between students and teachers, and offers effective solutions to manage student conflicts in innovative ways, pointing to a number of interactive activities included in the course that help motivate students to participate effectively in classrooms and improve the educational environment.
For her part, Ms. Yasmine Al-Lafdawi, University President, gave a detailed presentation on Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital University (TAG-DGU) and the most prominent services it provides in the field of digital education. She also reviewed the academic and professional programs it provides, and the various educational opportunities it offers to students. She also referred to the strategic partnerships of the University with a number of prestigious academic institutions, such as Westcliff University in the United States and Amity University in India, while explaining the mechanisms for joining these programs and the advantages provided by these partnerships.
It is noteworthy that the organization of the training course came within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties with the aim of improving the educational environment, enhancing academic and behavioral effectiveness among students, expanding the horizons of digital education, and providing advanced educational opportunities that support students’ aspirations in their academic and professional careers.
