Sheikh Adel Salah bin Sheikh Hassan Salah Al-Baqani was born in Nablus. He studied in its schools and, like his father and brothers, Sheikh Muhammad and Sheikh Yusuf, studied at Al-Azhar University. He worked as a teacher during World War I. He also served as a distinguished examiner, tasked with assessing students' academic abilities. He dedicated himself to continuing his studies and engaging with people and their concerns. A pioneer and visionary, he stood firm against the disapproval of some regarding his decision to resume his daughter Yusra's education at the American University.
