Dr. Fadi Hassouna holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from An-Najah National University, and a Master's and PhD in Transportation Engineering from Korea National Maritime University. Dr. Fadi works as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering with the rank of Associate Professor. He currently holds the position of Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, and previously held the position of Dean of the College of Graduate Studies (2022-2023) and Head of the Department of Graduate Studies for Natural Sciences (2021-2022).
Dr. Fadi has more than 15 years of professional, educational and research experience in the field of sustainability in transportation systems, road design, and logistics management. He has published dozens of research papers in international peer-reviewed journals and received many research awards, such as the Research Production Award, which includes the ten most productive researchers in peer-reviewed scientific research in international journals with an impact factor during the year 2020 at An-Najah National University. He has also participated in many international conferences in the field of transportation engineering.
During his academic career, Dr. Fadi has taught many courses in the Masters and Bachelors programs. The most prominent of these courses are: International Transport and Logistics, Sustainability in Transportation Systems, Principles of Scientific Research, Transportation Systems 1 (Road and Pavement Design), Transportation Systems 2 (Traffic Management), and Building Materials.
