Khaled Walid Al-Mudallal, a Palestinian student at the University of Bradford in Britain, won the presidency of the prestigious British university's student council for the second consecutive time in a heated election against a number of English students. This is unprecedented, not only because it marks the first time a Palestinian student from Gaza has held the presidency of the student council at a British university, but also because this is his second consecutive victory, having won the same position in 2009 and again this year, 2010-2011.
