Will and determination are the basis for the success of any work that its owner undertakes, in order to gain the satisfaction of himself and others, especially in light of the crowding of competitors around the world, and the spread of the scientific awakening that has brought about a qualitative shift in human life.

Abdullah Osama Al-Khalili, 21 years old, is a third-level student majoring in computer engineering, artificial intelligence branch at the Islamic University. He lives in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City and is a memorizer of the Book of God. He tried to deviate from the norm by making a miniature model of a self-electric car, which he called the “dual engine.”

Engineer Al-Khalili, an outstanding student in school, received many certificates of excellence throughout his academic journey. Although he suffers from a chronic disease called “Bahcet,” the disease was not an obstacle in his life, but rather he took it as a source of strength to rely on in life.

“I do not like to surrender,” Al-Khalili began a conversation with a Sawa Agency correspondent, his eyes longing for a future full of prosperity and development in the State of Palestine, especially in light of the scientific revolution sweeping the entire world.

Al-Khalili says: “I finished high school in the scientific branch and got a result of 87.6. My father wanted me to travel and study medicine in a European country, but I preferred to study in the country where my mother gave birth to me, so that any success I achieved would be attributed to my motherland.”

Al-Khalili adds: “I and a group of my colleagues began laying the foundation stone for the idea of producing a model of a car that produces electricity on its own and relies on it as an alternative to fuel. This came in conjunction with Hyundai’s announcement of the invention of a car that runs on electricity, but the problem that was hindering them at that time was the high price.” Electricity, so our idea was to produce electricity ourselves in the car.”

Engineer Al-Khalili's companions failed to work with him, but he insisted on completing the road alone in order to reach his desired goal.

He says: “The big idea needs financial support, despite the burning of some used tools, but that did not stop me from my path, despite the deterioration of the economic situation in general.”

Al-Khalili brought up the mechanism of the idea of the “double motor” and said: “The process of generating electric current will take place through the use of electromagnetic motors that work to generate electricity for a lifetime through the movement of the car wheels, which will be transformed into electrical movement resulting from the motor after the effect of the magnetic coupling torque on the coil.” The electrons rush quickly, producing electric current, and then the process of maximizing the voltage will take place, which is storing charges at intervals and then discharging them all at once.”

He continued: "The idea was initially by placing two motors. The first motor would operate the car and the second motor would be connected to the first motor through gears so that its coil would rotate within the magnetic field, producing electrical energy of a proportion equal to the proportion of the lost energy. Then the idea developed into merging the two motors together to work in The same time is within one magnetic field, but one of them will move opposite to the other, so that electricity is generated during the same period that the vehicle is moving.”

Young Al-Khalili enumerated the obstacles that stood in his way, saying: “The economic deficit, the neglect of the competent authorities in supporting science students and embracing their ideas, and the lack of moral support, were the most prominent obstacles.”

According to the young Palestinian man, one message was sent to him by the concerned authorities, which was to travel outside Gaza, but he rejected it out of a desire for his works and innovations to be attributed to the occupied State of Palestine.

The young man, Al-Khalili, aspires to establish a branch called Artificial Intelligence that will specialize in geniuses and professionals in this field, with the aim of renaissance and developing the State of Palestine.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Khalili called on all concerned parties and officials to exploit youth energies in a positive manner and not neglect them.
