Khaled Fahed Daoud Al-Qawasmeh (born June 25 , 1964 in Hebron ) is a Palestinian civil engineer and former minister.

He held the position of Minister of Local Government in the Ninth ,  Thirteenth,  and Fourteenth Palestinian Governments . 

Academic career

He received his primary education between Hebron , Cairo and Ramallah , and his secondary education from Hebron. He obtained a higher diploma in civil engineering from Odessa University in Ukraine in 1987, and a doctorate from the same university in 1997. 

He worked as a part-time lecturer at Al-Quds University from 2002 to 2005. 

Positions

Chairman of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee from 1996 to 2009. 
He was elected as the head of the Palestinian Engineers Association in the West Bank in the period 2003–2005. 
On February 24, 2005, he was appointed Minister of Local Government in the ninth Palestinian government headed by Ahmed Qurei , and continued until March 27, 2006. 
On May 19, 2009, he was appointed Minister of Local Government in the thirteenth Palestinian government headed by Salam Fayyad and continued until May 16, 2012. 
On May 16, 2012, he was appointed Minister of Local Government in the fourteenth Palestinian government headed by Salam Fayyad and continued until June 6, 2013.
