the biography

Palestinian director and actor, born in Gaza, Al-Shati refugee camp in 1963. He presented many theatrical, television and documentary works, and participated in many Arab art festivals. One of the founders of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation. He won the Best Director Award at the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia in 2005 for the film (The Honorable Sheikh).

He received three gold awards from the Cairo Radio and Television Festival for Best Director of Documentary Films. He directed many documentary films, programs and plays, including (Jaffa, Memory of a Place, An Artist from My Country, and The Oil Jug).
