the biography

Palestinian actor, director and writer. Born in 1962 in Jerusalem. He is influential in Palestinian theater, as he participated as an actor in (32) plays, and as a director in (33) plays, and wrote (18) plays, and translated (8) plays and participated in several diverse artistic workshops in the art of theater.

He supervised several diverse courses in the art of theater. He participated as an actor and director in several international and local festivals. He won more than one award as an actor, the most important of which was the Best Actor Award from the Venice Film Festival in 2017 for his role in the movie Case No. 23. He is a founding member of the Palestinian Theater Association and a member of the Palestinian Writers Union.
