Dr. Khaled Al-Sahli holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University in the United States of America, specializing in Transportation and Traffic Engineering and Planning. Dr. Al-Sahli is a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. He served as Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (2014-2019).
Dr. Al-Sahli has extensive experience in road design and planning, traffic engineering and planning including public transportation, traffic impact analysis studies, traffic safety, environmental impacts, and strategic development planning. He has conducted numerous projects, research and training programs in these areas.
Dr. Al-Sahli has over 30 years of professional, educational and research experience. He has published numerous research papers in specialized journals and conferences, and has received numerous awards for his work in research, teaching and professional activities.
Dr. Al-Sahli has worked on projects in the United States, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, and Palestine, and has worked with many international companies and agencies. He is a member of many international professional organizations, and is fluent in both English and Arabic. Dr. Al-Sahli is a registered engineer in the State of Florida and in the Engineers Association - Jerusalem Center.
